Hi!

My name is Melissa, and I'm the newbie blogger.




I've decided to chronicle my journey as a mom, wife, teacher, and somewhat of a fitness enthusiast.

I'm in my early 30's and I've come to the realization that I need to take the bull by the horns, so to speak.

I've got a lot on my plate daily, and it's time to prioritize.  I've always been an athlete and very active.  Then I had my 2 sweet babies, well, they are 4 and almost 3...and all of that stopped on a dime.



Recently I've taken up running again, signed up for a half marathon, and I'm back in the game.

How am I going to manage a full time job, 2 awesome kids, my husband (who's also a teacher and high school football coach), my fitness goals, housework, and everything else?




Along the way, there are bumps, burps, roadblocks, and everything in between.  It's all part of the journey, and I'm here to embrace it an enjoy the ride!
