This Challenge Is For You!

Ok, I just finished Insanity Pure Cardio, and I'm fired up to start this CHALLENGE with YOU!!

Here's the deal...

  • All you have to be is ready to make a commitment to a better, fitter, happier YOU...that's it, just a commitment.
  • You should LIKE the FACEBOOK page Get Fit Challenge.  This way we can all connect and check in for support.  We can share what our plans are and maybe hook up with someone or a few who have similar goals!
Let me just tell you that this is a 2 way street.  It's just human nature to feed off of the energy of others.  I need the motivation of knowing that there is someone else waiting to hear that I did a workout...whatever my plan is (I'll get to that in a few) and hearing that others are out there doing the same.

POSITIVE ENERGY!
  • Here's a PERK...you don't have to commit to leaving your home and going to an 8:00 p.m. workout session if you still haven't gotten the kids to bed.  You can start at 8:30 and go down to your basement, or living room, or wherever your designated workout area is!
  • How about this...you don't have to worry about looking cute at the gym!  The old saying, "If you look pretty at the end of the workout, you didn't work hard enough!"  is out the window!  You can look as un-make-upped as you want and still get in a hard core workout without worrying about droopy yoga pants or...uhhhmmm...muffin top...ahhhh!!!!
NOW, if you're thinking to yourself, self, "I don't even know this lady, how is this going to work?"
  • All you have to do is LIKE the page on FACEBOOK, and tell me that you want to motivate, and to be motivated!  You can tell me your goal, and we can work together!
Here's my goal:
  • My starting point is:  running 3-4 days a week.  I'd like to keep that going, but make the mileage at least 6 miles per run.  My goal is to run 20+ miles a week.
  • INSANITY:  I just did PURE CARDIO today.  I will do an INSANITY video 3-4 days a week.
  • NUTRITION:  This is my weakest link.  I will pay much closer attention to what I'm eating.  Since Easter I've been a slacker with my nutrition, and that's changing starting now.  Nothing drastic...no starvation or tremendous calorie cut back, just healthy choices that I can live with.  More fruits, less candy.  If sugar is what I'm after, an orange will do the trick just at much as a box of Mike and Ikes would...and I'll feel much better.
SHAKEOLOGY!
  • This is the one thing that I will not waver on.  I love this stuff.  It's my recovery shake, it's my breakfast.  If all else fails, I know I'm doing myself right by drinking this every day.
  • I have samples if you're interested in trying it out for yourself.  Just message me or leave a note on the Get Fit Challenge page on FACEBOOK.  I'll get one to you right away.
Let's just say that you're a little bit leery about joining up on some Facebook wacko's fitness page.  Well, just like it, then check back in to see if something catches your eye!  I'll be posting lot's of tips and advice on things like:  sticking to your plan, reaching your goals and motivational stuff to keep you moving and accountable for whatever it is you say you'd like to accomplish!  That can not be a bad deal!

If you've seen the infomercials and have been hemming and hawing (that saying is so strange!) why don't you see what other people have to say about it as they link up and report in on progress and how workouts are going...?
I'm working toward a Half Marathon in June...my major goal is to run faster than I did in May. So, my number 1 focus is going to be on running...you don't have to have a WorkOut from the above list to be a part of this group!

All signs point to joining up with me on the Challenge!  Just do it!  If you start tomorrow, then you're one step closer to your fitness goals!
There's a LINK to the FACEBOOK page to the right...I hope to "see" you there!!

    1. That would be Awesome! Let's hope we have a crowd to work with! It's so hard to actually meet up, or join a gym and go to classes...this is perfect for working out with a more flexible schedule, but still getting the support from a "class"!
Thanks for tweeting! I need to get on that train!
